JERMAINE LINDSEY / FOOTWEAR DESIGN

01 / THE DESIGN
The heart is more than a mark on the slipper. Its rounded volume forms the upper, while the raised 13 gives the surface its signature. A continuous rim carries that soft, sculpted language around the footbed.
The pink finish makes the changing curves and recesses visible. Top, side and front views reveal how one graphic idea becomes a complete silhouette.
02 / ORIGINAL RENDERS
03 / ORIGINAL DESIGN PROCESS
The original studio recording captures the slipper inside a 3D sculpting workspace. These are frames from that recording: the model, the tools and the decisions taking shape.

The model rotates into profile, revealing the upper volume, open toe and continuous sole.
A shaded slipper and a pale model appear together in the working viewport alongside the Lindsey wordmark.
Scene objects and transform handles are visible as the composition and lighting are explored.
04 / NEXT FORM EXPLORATIONS
These new AI-assisted visual ideations follow the original design work. Each keeps the heart-and-13 upper while exploring a different relationship between the sole, surface and open space.

Vertical ribs extend the sculptural language around the sole. Next comparison: coarse versus fine ribs, with the same upper and camera angle. Review the silhouette and shadow, then make a flex sample.
An open shell explores negative space around the footbed. Next comparison: sparse versus dense openings, keeping the heart upper fixed. Review visual lightness, then test edge strength in a prototype.
A quieter, rounded base lets the upper carry the identity. Next comparison: a low versus raised rim around the same footbed. Review the outline, then build a fit prototype.
